Structure and Desulfurization Performance of Desulfurizer of Adsorption Coupled With Catalytic Oxidation

摘要: 以Fe2O3为脱硫活性相、活性炭为载体,采用二次浸渍法制备了吸附催化氧化耦合脱硫剂,并在固定床微型反应器上考察了该脱硫剂的脱硫性能。采用XPS手段分析了H2S脱除前后耦合脱硫剂物种的配位方式。结果表明,高比表面积活性炭实现了Fe2O3纳米尺度的分散;耦合脱硫剂的脱硫过程为吸附氧化和催化氧化作用的协同过程,其对H2S的一次穿透硫容可达243%,远高于单纯活性炭的脱硫活性。脱硫产物为FeS、Fe2(SO4)3及单质硫。耦合脱硫剂对不同的有机硫化物均有一定的脱除效果,且在N2气氛下可实现部分再生。

Abstract: Desulfurizers of adsorption coupled with catalytic oxidation were prepared via twice impregnation method, and their desulfurization performance was evaluated with the help of a fixbed microreactor. The species in the coupled desulfurizer were analyzed before and after desulfurization. It is indicated that activated carbon with huge surface area really guaranteed a nanosize dispersion of Fe2O3 Moreover, the H2S removal process was a synergistic process of adsorptive oxidation and catalytic oxidation when using coupled desulfurizer and its sulfur capacity could reach as high as 243%, which was much higher than virgin activated carbon. Elemental sulfur together with FeS and Fe2(SO4)3 were the main products in the H2S removal process based on the results of XPS analysis. Some specific desulfurization efficiency was obtained when feed gas contained different organic sulfides. Additionally, partial regeneration efficiency of exhausted desulfurizer could be got under the N2 atmosphere.
